The Foton Cummins ISF series inline four-cylinder 3.8-liter and 2.8-liter engines are Cummins investing heavily in two newly developed, future-oriented, next-generation all-electrically controlled light-duty diesel engines. In 2009, the plant was put into operation at the Cummins plant in Beijing. The project has a total investment of 2.7 billion RMB and an annual production capacity of 400,000 units.
