Analysis of Record of Solar Radiation in China by Radiation Recorder

Solar radiation is very important for the creatures on Earth, but due to factors such as altitude, latitude, and transparency of the atmosphere, the intensity of solar radiation on the ground is also different. Domestic scholars began to study the calculation methods suitable for direct radiation in China. Recently, many scholars have studied the climate change of total solar radiation. In most parts of Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America, there has been a trend of a decrease in total radiation with an average reduction of 2%/10a. The reason for this is that some studies have concluded that the increase in aerosols, or the change in cloud volume, or that they are irrelevant to cloudiness and aerosols, has not yet reached consensus. The above scholars have revealed to some extent the distribution characteristics of China's total solar radiation. China's northwest region is one of the high-value areas of solar radiation. Analysis of the distribution of total solar radiation and changes in the entire northwest region is rare. Analyzing the monthly, seasonal and annual changes of the total solar radiation in the Northwest China has important scientific and practical value for the development of agricultural climate resources and solar energy resources.

Through the use of radiation recorders to record total solar radiation throughout the year, it was found that the interannual variation of the total annual radiation distribution in the four seasons is basically the same as that of the total solar radiation, and that in the northern and northwestern regions is the largest. The total decrease in total solar radiation in autumn and winter is larger, and the decrease in spring and summer is significantly smaller. However, the total solar radiation in the southern Xinjiang-Qinghai Plateau is not obvious in the four seasons, and it does not decrease significantly in autumn and winter, and does not increase significantly in spring and summer. This distribution shows that during the change in the reduction of total solar radiation in northwestern China, the four seasons are decreasing, and the decreasing range is slightly greater in autumn and winter than in spring and summer.
