We need to understand the installation environment of the water meter. The installation environment of small-diameter and large-diameter water meters is completely different. A water meter with a diameter of 15-20mm is installed outdoors, and a water meter with a diameter of 25-50mm can be installed in a water meter well. Signals are difficult to come by. 80-300mm water meter installation environment is poor, and some will be buried directly underground. Water meter above 300mm, the installation environment is slightly better, will provide it with power.

Where are the water meter data? At present, many manufacturers read their own data and give the data to the water division. There are also water divisions who read the tables themselves to analyze and use the data. Now the State Grid is also doing a meter reading platform. Where is the data going? This is a puzzle and it is proposed for everyone to think about. For the Water Department, the data needs to be copied for water charges. What is the data of the Water Secretary when reading the meter? If the State Grid copied the table, how did the Water Secretary get the data? The use of water meter data is one of charge, and one is used for analysis, including energy analysis, leakage analysis and so on. If the State Grid reads the meter, it is hoped that there will be no obstacles to the water company and the gas company, resulting in no data.

Many operators are involved, such as the State Grid, Telecom, Huawei, etc., and all of their systems can be connected. As long as the water meter manufacturer embeds a certain type of module in the water meter, the data of the water meter can be transmitted directly without being installed. And it costs too much to maintain.
